Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born and raised in Canada. She is most well-known to Canadians due to her work as an Canadian actor on the Freeform fantasy show Shadowhunters. In addition, she was a part of in Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea and a'que te enamores. She is also a dancer and also models. Montreal-born, she has lived in Texas since childhood, and always enjoyed dancing. When she was a young girl, she began training in different forms of dancing. At the age of 15 old, she began taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia rose to fame when she made her debut in 2008 as an contestant on Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty competition.
