Suzanne Pleshette was an American actor and voice-over artist. Over the course of her career that lasted for nearly five decades, she had accumulated over a hundred credits on her list of credits. Pleshette is a native of New York and began her acting journey on stage. In later years she began to make the gradual transition to film. The most notable films include 'Rome Adventure', 'The Birds', 'Fate is The Hunter''If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium and 'Support Your Local Gunfighter'. In addition, she has appeared in several TV series and movies. She won four Emmy Awards, and received two Golden Globe Awards. Having been nominated twice, Pleshette won the Laurel Award in 1963 for the film 'The Birds'. Pleshette, who died in 2008 was given a Star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
